Nord C-1 Mod

The last 2 months I’ve been playing a Nord C-1 Combo organ and I am totally in love with it, the sound that is. It’s very versatile and compact and sounds great. The only thing which really sucks is the way it looks. I can’t seem to understand why Clavia creates super cool instruments but wants to distinct itself by creating ugly red wooden casings. So me and my friend Joris with some help from Joerie started to take serious action by modding the Nord C-1 and give it the look which represents how it sounds. Check the pictures for the results.

Tha Funk Box

Mijn Hammond kast project is geslaagd. Dick (drummer) en ik hebben dit weekend de hammond wanna-be kast afgemaakt. Het is een kast die er van buiten uitziet als een hammond (althans een beetje) maar van binnen eigenlijk een keyboard standaard is. Ziet er groovy uit op het podium, leuker dan al die lelijke zilvere (Yamaha Motif) of rode (Nord Electro) meuk. HEHEH let’s party on. Ik ben er best wel trots op!

Ik heb ook nog een filmpje uit mijn digitale camera gehaald en beetje bewerkt. Ja het is een beetje freaky maar ik wilde gewoon effe spelen met iMovieHD en ik kan je zeggen het werkt perfect klik hier om het filmpje (in Quicktime) van de kast te zien.
