Hot rodding
Posted: November 14th, 2008 | Author: flixz | Filed under: Music | Tags: tape rgo recording |Last Monday we processed all our tracks for our new recording through a tape recorder. The beauty of this is that a tape compresses the sound and allows you to record easily up to plus 2dB input. However the RGO takes it to the edge as you can see, we go for +4dB which gives the sound a real bite and makes it gritty and funky. This process is also known as Hot Rodding.
